Vizhi Awakening Trust is a registered public charitable trust run by veterans, educators and volunteers who believe character can be taught, and that nobody should have to pay to be told the truth about themselves.
Awaken a citizen. Prepare a leader. Deploy them at home.
In 2016 our founder walked into a government higher secondary school in Tiruvallur to speak for twenty minutes. He stayed four hours. The questions the students asked, about fear, about money, about whether anyone like them ever got selected, became the syllabus.
We do not run motivational events. We run programmes with attendance registers, fitness baselines, assessor reports and follow-up. If a young person completes a Vizhi programme, someone in this organisation knows their name, their weakness and their plan.
Everything is free for the participant. We are funded entirely by individual donors, CSR partners and volunteers who give their time instead of their money.

Educate
Structured, well-researched programmes: foundations of military leadership, knowledge circles in finance, civic leadership, law and health, and academic build-up for the exams that matter.
Awaken
Individual personality gap assessment, OLQ and LLQ workshops, endurance bootcamps and mentoring that shows a young person exactly who they are and who they could be.
Empower
Awakeners go on to serve, as officers, entrepreneurs, researchers and mentors, and to awaken leadership in others, multiplying the work across communities.
